Castiglione della Pescaia
A handful of houses with a few thousands of inhabitants, a charming place of the Maremma between turquoise sea and green pine woods, where time is marked by the sound of the seagulls waiting for the return of the fishing boats: this is Castiglione della Pescaia. The town, with a suggestive view of the islands Elba and Giglio and of the Argentario’s promontory, is divided in two parts: the High Town, characterized by a majestic medieval castle, and the Low Town, more modern and situated near the sea.
