Gulf of Gaeta
The Gulf of Gaeta, also known as Ulysses’Coast, is located between Naples and Rome and it’s one of the most relevant tourist destinations of the Tyrrhenian Sea, also rich in many monumental, religious and historical testimonies. The treasures of this splendid heaven are so charming to leave one speechless: golden fine sandy beaches caressed by a crystal-clear blue sea, winding hills with a luxuriant vegetation which slope to rock cliffs overlooking the gulf, and this is just the beginning. The main towns are Gaeta and Formia, two vibrant and characteristic sea resorts, able to satisfy even the most demanding tourist. Last but not least the Gulf of Gaeta is also notable for the Urban Park of Monte Orlando that lies on a promontory almost completely surrounded by the sea, a blue oasis managed by the WWF for educational and scientific aims.
